100% Renewable by 2022

Alongside Totally Renewable Yackandandah (TRY)’s more recent purchase offerings for solar power systems and energy efficient hot water units, we are now pleased to offer an Energy Coaching service to the residents of Yackandandah.

As part of our goal to be 100% renewable by 2022, TRY is committed to assisting members of the local community implement strategies to reduce household energy consumption. Our Energy Coaches will visit your home and consider ways that you may be able to;

  • be more comfortable in your home,
  • reduce your energy costs, and
  • reduce your carbon emissions.

The table below shows that heating and cooling your home is the biggest use of power, alongside appliances and water heating. Making changes in these areas can help reduce your home energy consumption.

TRY endorsed Energy Coaches are volunteers offering their time to help you understand more about how energy is consumed in your home and what you may be able to do to reduce your energy consumption.

To request an Energy Coaching session, please send your name, residential address and phone number to [email protected]. The focus area is for households within a 14km radius of the Yackandandah township.
