We truly appreciate any donation you can make to Totally Renewable Yackandandah (TRY). Your donation will drive our campaign to 100% renewable electricity and reduce the damaging impact fossil fuel energy production has on our natural environment. There are two fantastic ways that you can donate to TRY: either to a General Fund or a Public Fund.
You can donate directly via bank transfer to TRY Inc. A donation to TRY Inc is not tax deductible and will be used to assist with the operational or project costs of TRY, unless otherwise agreed to prior. If you wish to make a donation for a specific project, please make contact with the TRY Committee to discuss this or email us at: [email protected]
Please add a reference with your last name and deposit purpose, e.g. “Smith, donation”. Likewise, if you would like to receive a receipt for your donation, please email [email protected], or use the contact form on this website, with the subject Attention: Treasurer.

Alternatively, you can contribute to the TRY Public Fund. The TRY Public Fund is a public fund, listed on the Register of Environmental Organisations under item 6.1.1 of subsection 30-55(1) of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. You can donate to the TRY Public Fund via bank transfer using the bank details listed below. Donations must remain publicly anonymous and cannot be directed towards specific projects.
Please note we are also obliged to issue a tax receipt for any donation to the TRY Public Fund: please ensure you email [email protected] advising us of your donation.
The TRY Public Fund is managed by a nominated Governance Committee and donations may assist with various projects and the operational expenses of TRY.
