Yack02 Community Battery Information Session #2

Is a community or neighbourhood-scale battery the same as the small lithium batteries in household appliances? Find out the answer at the next information session for Yack02, our second community battery, soon to be installed at the Yackandandah Sports Park. Discover the power savings and energy reliability that it will provide to the Sports Park, and how thinking outside the square provides community benefits.

This mid-scale battery will ensure power continuity to the building, providing operational community facilities during power outages and times of disruption. Yack02 differs from our first community battery Yack01 because of that capability, and because the savings from lower power costs go directly to the Sports Park.
